Pittsburg Steelers card/poster art

Part of the collection I’m doing for 2025 to celebrate the start of the 2025-2026 NFL season. Each team will have their own card art inspired by their logo colours. Additionally, each team will also have both an obverse and reverse design, with the obverse design featuring player stats (from Madden 26, credit EA) and 2024-2025 season info while the reverse design will feature the player’s number. Third up in the collection, we have the Pittsburg Steelers design and an example card inspired by their star linebacker: T.J. Watt.

Obverse Pittsburg Steelers Design:
- A Steelers yellow background inspired by their jersey with a darker yellow American Football pattern on top.
- Right and left edges have grey stripes, these stripes feature “AFC” running down the side to showcase the Conference the Steelers play in and also feature two all white Steelers logos on either side.
- A larger, hand drawn recreation of the Steelers logo takes centre stage.

Reverse Pittsburg Steelers Design:
- Features a background inspired by Steelers logo and jersey colours black, yellow and white with the American Football pattern in light grey on top of the white area of the background.
- Matching grey edge stripes as the obverse design.
- A smaller scale hand drawn recreation Pittsburg Steelers logo sits atop a black American Football in the yellow area of the reverse design. Additionally, six yellow Lombardi trophies sit under the recreated logo, with each trophy having a different year to commemorate the Steelers’ six Super Bowl victories in 1975, ‘76, ‘79, ‘80, 2006 and 2009.

T.J. Watt Obverse Card Design:
- Uses the same Steelers card obverse design.
- Features a picture of Watt from Sports Illustrated
- Features an ability name inspired by his 2021 Defensive Player of the Year award
- Features stats from his 2024-2025 season.
- Features his Madden 26 general rating (credit EA)
- Watt’s name takes centre stage in Impact font at the top of the card.

T.J. Watt Reverse Card Design:
- Uses the same Pittsburg Steelers card design.
- Features an additional Number 90 in Impact font in the patterned area of the design to reflect Watt’s on field jersey number.
