Blender trees

The thumbnail image is an example of using this technique to create a tree and the model was used for a project in Roblox Studio. The following images document the process of the tree’s creation.

Example of trees made using this method. These were then exported to Roblox Studio where they got re-textured with Roblox Studio textures for lag reduction

From here you can add leaves if you want (I didn’t for this model) by texturing a plane, duplicating the textured plane a few times to give a cluster of leaves and then dotting it around the tree. https://sl.bing.net/du3iYuGBglw leaf image used here

Duplicating the tree and using simple deform to twist and bend the tree to give it a more interesting look. I would recommend adding a bump node to help with the texture. Has not been done here as the tree will be used for Roblox and will be re-textured

Applying the array which then allows you to adjust any of the model individually thus allowing you to add variation if you wanted

The same method can also be used spiny plants such as these. Note that these were re-textured on Roblox Studio for lag reduction

This method is also useful for making things like nets as well
