Imperial Bio Research Facility - Roblox Model

Inspired by Star Wars Commander’s Dandoran facility, I decided to create what I believe an Imperial research facility dedicated to investigating and producing undead stormtroopers would look like. The facility features a command centre, seven offices (located in various places around the facility), a holoprojector room for meetings with imperials elsewhere (inspired by the scene in Empire Strikes Back when we first see Emperor Palpatine speak to Vader aboard the Executor), an observation/general research room, analysis room, surgery theatre room and test subject storage room. The facility itself can be split into two zones: the “safe” area and “contact” area.

The safe area is the rooms and corridors with standard imperial grey panelling (using a metal texture) and is named “safe” as this is test subjects should not be in these areas. In other words, these areas are for the living only and thus are deemed as safe as there should be no interaction in these areas with either test subject or test samples (e.g. test tubes, petri dishes etc should not be in these zones). Oppositely, the “contact” area is named as such as this is where interaction between living and undead will happen and can be identified through the use of white panelled hallways and rooms simulating a lab/hospital environment where research and samples are taken. In addition, there are a few research pads dotted around the facility which can be picked up.

Everything has been created and lit within Roblox studio except for the data images on terminals (pictured below). These have been created in IbisPaintX. Additionally, a “breakout” version of this model has also been made which can be found here: (will add the link once I have made that page on artstation).

Theatre and observation room. Undead Stormtrooper on the table is not mine and was created by my friend Artillerygonk on Discord. The main lab area features a terminal, surgery table which has 4 lights above it so the surgeon has max visibility.

Analysis room featuring biohazard vats, an analysis terminal (as seen in the lab), a work bench with microscope, test tube racks, industrial steriliser and test storage.

Another angle of the analysis room. In this image you can see the test storage which features a frosted glass texture to show that it is frozen storage. This angle also gives a greater view of the large microscope, test tube rack and Petri dishes.

Office room, same as on the Death Star. There are 7 offices in the facility in total. 1 is connected to the observatory room, 5 are located in a hallway and another 1 is connected to the command room.
