Life Day card artwork for Star Wars Dex on Discord

Celebrating the Star Wars holiday of Life Day which was first mentioned in the controversial 1978 Star Wars Holiday Special, this card art celebrates the Wookiee holiday in a 2D minimalist style. A key focal point of this artwork is the blue orb which some sources present as blue while others depict it as red or white. However, I chose blue as I personally believe it standouts better amongst the red robes of the Wookiees. The artwork itself is inspired by a scene from the 1978 special. The tree is decorated with yellow orbs and a dark green background subtly conveys the leaves of the tree without interfering with the rest of the design.
